Welcome to Hypnogoria, Britain's longest running horror podcast!

Coming to you from the Great Library of Dreams, Mr Jim Moon invites you to take a comfy armchair by the fireside to talk of all things weird and wonderful. Here we discuss strange cinema and spooky television, explore weird fiction and delve into the mysteries of folklore. Plus we also regularly gather by the fireside to hear readings of some classic tales of the strange and the macabre.

In this episode Mr Jim Moon sets off once more into the weird and wonderful badlands of 1970s British children's TV. Following on from our previous episodes looking at SF and horror serials produced by HTV , this week we look at King of the Castle, a seven part series written by Bob Baker and Dave Martin, the chaps who created K9 for Doctor Who and previously wrote the highly bizarre serial Sky for HTV. Would King of the Castle see them return to more family-friendly fare or did they top Sky and serve up a nightmarish fantasy tale that has been dubbed "Kafka for kids"? Clue: it might be the second one!
